So I downloaded Dolphin Emulator 3.0-735-dirty 64-bit version to play Sonic Adventure 2 battle, I went through all the recommended settings, (Apart from audio throttle as I don't know how to enable/disable it?) The game started up fine, but when it got to the opening cut scene, it started running very slowly, I skipped that, and all the menus worked perfectly (smooth) I started a level and it skipped here and there.

Is it my computer? Or is there something I can try to improve the performance?

My PC Specs are:

Windows 7 64-bit
Intel Pentium 4 3.20GHz (With Hyper Threading?)
4GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5450 1GB Graphics card

Thanks in advance Smile

CPU sucks.
GPU can do 1x native, and also sucks.

Upgrade, pronto.

Haha, not that easy, I'm not forking out a load of cash just to play SA2 on my PC, I may aswell go get a Gamcube and play it on that. This runs online games perfectly, If there's no way of it handling Dolphin, then it's cool. I'll just get a GC Smile

You do that.
Have fun.

However, you could get a build that could play it for $300.

Because that's definitely cheaper then buying a GC? I understand you're trying to help, but I simply can't afford to completely over haul my PC just to play SA2.

Thanks anyway.

You don't have to buy a new computer. You came here to find out why your PC was running games slow. Now that you found out, you can either get a new PC, get a GC or simply do nothing. You were seeking information and you've gotten it.

Actually, more like $250.

But your welcome, anyway.

SA2B doesn't require an exceptionally fast processor, so whenever you DO upgrade, (If you do,) it should work perfectly.

What CPU would you recommend?
