If you think of ordering the exynos version of the s8 don't. buy a snapdragon 821 phone or buy a snapdragon 835 phone later.
I tried it and it is as bad as the s7 edge. It doesn't run with the vulkan drivers, well it starts up and the sound is okay but the image is none.
If you use opengl drivers it is really slow. Slower then the demo's of the s7 edge on youtube. I am talking about sub 10 fps. slowing down emulation speed doesn't do it any good either.

If you are European and want dolphin on your phone DON'T buy the galaxy s8 series.

I am not against the phone so far despite this. Still figuring it out. I am going to run some graphics demo's on it to see how it fares to the s7 edge.
I will update you guys soon.

If you want a video or give me tips on setup your welcome to do ask so. I only play games i bought that is pikmin, resident evil remake, zelda windwaker and zelda twpr

This is why people will buy the Sony Xperia xz premium. Becose all the phoned at world will have the same CPU the net Snapdragon 835 and ardreno GPU. This problem with Samsung and the CPU that they only sell in Europe.

Better wait some weeks and we will see so many phones with the SD schoc.

Yeah. Until ARM gets it's gpu driver act together, qualcomm's chipsets will be the way to go.

Well, this was expected though I have hoped they fixed Vulkan driver as it was reported r15p0 on S6 Edge Nougat no longer has problems with Dolphin Vulkan backend. I'll get my hands on S8 Exynos variant in few days, I'll take a look at the log

Can you at least let us know if Wind Waker is at least playable? That's the main game I want to play. If anyone's tried it on Exynos version, please let us know.

Nope it is not playable i can't even get past the menu because it is so slow. Looking at the other phones available in europe go for a snapdragon 821 phone if you want to at least be able to play zelda windwaker.

I really like the S8 so the only thing I'd do is get the American version (I am going to America in the summer). I actually am an expat in Saudi Arabia right now.

If the Snapdragon one works really well, even if for just Wind Waker, I am considering getting it from there.

Is it fully functional without issue on Snapdragon?

And also I heard the issue is driver related and can be fixed in the future. Would be it be likely that they can have it up and running in the coming months?

Don't expect drivers fix soon.

ARM Mali devs don't care about this. That all.
