S7 texture issue

Hi guys,

Sorry if this has been asked and answered I have a copy of zelda wind waker but it seems to be missing some textures and showing black where they should be. Does anyone know what maybe causing this and how I can fix it? I saw this video of an s7 running it fairly well

It's a bug in the mali video drivers.

Did you upgrade to the latest August or September security patch versions? They bring a new GPU driver (r12p1) which adds Vulkan/es 3.2 support but also adds horrible texture issues to Dolphin, performance also seems worse on OGL mode and to top it off, Vulkan mode with this driver just shows a yellow screen. The texture issues look to be the same as the S6 experiences on marshmallow - https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-graphical-issues-on-the-samsung-galaxy-s6-with-android-6-0-update so its almost like they've managed to re-introduce an old bug in to these new drivers

It sounds like you might be experiencing the above as I haven't noticed any bad texture problems on Dolphin with the older gpu drivers pre-august update.

Sadly I have updated is it worth doing a roll back with odin or is it likely this will be fixed by a dolphin update?
