I think in the end, I will go with an I5 because it is cheaper than the lowest variant of the i5 CPUs. I've been asking a a few Melee netplayers and the said that an I3 wouldn't be enough. I will be swapping out the 470 with a 750ti because I don't see myself running dolphin with any anti-aliasing or higher resolution. Also, it saves me lots of money in the end. I'll try. I was just updating the BIOS for the MOBO not that I expect that to help. 03-03-2017, 06:26 AM

I got the same time, but I am not sure if I'm doing it right....there doesn't appear to be a BIOS setting to disable it on my board (ASUS X370-PRO).
EDIT: Also....CPU never went above 3.12 GHz when running benchmark......hold on. 03-03-2017, 06:43 AM
This could be of some importance: http://www.anandtech.com/comments/11170/...700/534750

For IPC comparisons and benches like Dolphin, I'd say it made more sense if both ran at the same clockspeed.

During the test it was mostly ~3.5 GHz. Also, not that I'm sure it matters for the benchmark but my RAM is messed up I think. It isn't recognized by the BIOS and I'm pretty sure it isn't running at the right speed. When I tried to manually set it correctly it failed. I'm going to work soon. I'll be back around 10 if anyone wants me to do anything else or test any games or anything. I don't know. Luckily I still have my i5 lol. 03-03-2017, 10:30 AM
AMD Turbo Core still sucks then . Last time i tried , it didn't work, i had to disable it , then set the CPU ratio and Vcore manually
