RX 480 issues?

So I've been using Dolphin on the OpenGL backend for some time, and only just discovered that the Direct3D 11/12 backend works better (11 working the best), however, after some time (can range from a few minutes to a few hours), The emulator will freeze, my screen will go black and my RX 480's drivers will crash, and I am unsure of what is causing this.
I am using the latest version of the AMD drivers (Radeon Software Version 17.7.1) and still issues persist, the only way to get it to work is using the OpenGL backend (which is really slow).
Is anyone sure of a fix, this has even been happening on my old RX 480 (Reference Model) and even after changing to the Nitro+ model it has still persisted.
Here are my PC specs if anyone knows anything.

CPU:
AMD A8-6600K APU with Radeon ™ Graphics.
GPU:
AMD Radeon RX 480 Nitro+ OC.
RAM:
16GB of RAM.

Thanks for reading and if you have a fix please let me know.

Try a developer build. They have the Vulkan backend instead of DirectX12. I found it worked well back when I was using an RX 460.

Yeah, the polaris issues were resolved shortly after the 5.0 release iirc.
