That's good news, since I bought that very same dongle a while ago as "backup replacement", if my non-TR (no M+) Wiimotes decide to break some day and I can't find new ones to replace them. So I can rely that I can switch to Toshiba stack and to -TR motion+ remotes, that are at the stores Smile

Hi All,

I hope to provide a small tip that helped me when games stopped recognizing my wiimote after my computer crashed. I'm sure this is common knowledge but I searched Google and this forum and couldn't find the answer. After my computer crashed (while I was playing dolphin) I could no longer play games with the wiimote. The Toshiba Bluetooth Stack would "connect" to the wiimote and dolphin would recognize it (with a vibration signal) but games would not see it. I would hit Alt F5 over and over again and it would say "connected" (top left corner in yellow) but the games would not respond. I restarted my computer, didn't work. I downloaded the newest developer copy, didn't work. I created a new dolphin emulator folder in documents, didn't work. I removed the connection from the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack and tried to add it back but I couldn't create a new wiimote connection. It would see the wiimote but when I clicked to add it, it said "detection of service failed". I uninstalled the Toshiba Bluetooth stack and reinstalled it (which is a process in Windows 8.1), still didn't work. Finally, I removed the USB adapter and tried it in another port and it worked! I then added it back to the old port and it still worked. Weird but if this happens to you try it.

edit: Btw, I use this bluetooth adapter: IOGEAR Bluetooth 4.0 USB Micro Adapter (GBU521). It works great.

I played 30 min of Skyward Sword, then the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack stopped detecting mi Wiimote Plus (RVL-CNT-01-TR).

I tried everything, but it doesn't detect my Wiimote. I already bought another wiimote and another nunchuck and I have the same problem, I have already put so much money on this, it is driving me insane! Please, help me! Huh

It was already working, why is this happening?

I have a laptop, so no bluetooth dongle.

I recently got Dolphin, when through all the pages of this forum, made dolphin work with Toshiba bluetooth stack work with my USB dongle on my Asus laptop, played about 10 times on with both of my RVL-CNT-01-TR wiimotes perfectly. Usualy when i take a brake i keep Dolphin opened with the game open and when i come back from my brake, the game say that the player one is not detected
anymore.

In that case, i just restart Dolphin and reconnect my wiimotes by deleting them from the Toshiba bluetooth stack and re-adding them and then i can play again, but last night when it told me that player 1 wasn't detected anymore, i tried to delete and re-add my wiimotes from the Toshiba Bluetooth stack, but when i was connecting them, the wiimotes were instantly disconecting.

So i decided to uninstall and reinstall the driver this morning, but now when i try to add my wiimotes by using the express mode, it detect my wiimote, but when i click next after choosing the Nintendo RVL-CNT-01-TR wiimote, the Toshiba stack try to connect to the wiimote, but it say "Registration failed, try again?".

I didn't find any thread on internet talking about this sort of problem, does anyone has a solution?

Edit: I formated my laptop just now, reinstaled the latest toshiba bluetooth stack and latest dolphin, the toshiba bluetooth stack still disconect the wiimotes instantly.

I know this thread is old, but to give possible readers a clue:
be careful when synching with Toshiba stack: press 1+2 and wait till blinking is over. Afterwards press any button, for example "A" (no leds blink this time) and THEN go on with the installation.
The WiiRemote Plus will remain connected then Smile

It is old but much overlooked glitch

edit: if it states "Bluetooth not ready" just plug out & -in your dongle

You deserve a beer Wink I registered just to thank you!
