yes I guess I will wait because my dad is scared I would brake it he said: I really need to be sure which cable I have to connect to which one because if you do something wrong you can blow it up. (blow it up seems to be very odd xd)
So we'll do some testing too on which is positive , which is negative

But do you have the same bar as I do?

Is it me, or is this thread a bit off topic now? We switched from problems with the TR to rigging a sensor bar to run off a different source of power... Maybe there should be a split? Or has the TR subject moved to a different thread? I'm not bellyaching but I have been following this post for a while and I am deeply interested in the TR bluetooth driver issues and would like to help those if I can who still have functionality problems with it.

You are right kofnot and I apologize but it was probably because I was waiting for these things and got too excited.. I'll just cut this post of mine and create a new topic of it like a tutorial. Which I already did here

Wii Sensor Bar v2 (6 LEDS) - USB POWERED TUTORIAL
http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=21649

But today I MUST get my bluetooth dongle and then I can help again too. See if it was because of the dongle or not

Amasing ... just amasing ! everything is working fine here.

Wii Sensor Bar with USB power, the ASUS 211 Bluetooth usb and the RVL-CNT-01-TR WiiMote.

I installed the ASUS disc, rebooted, then did the Toshiba stack thing rebooted again and the connection worked perfect. I just have to wait until tomorow if it will still work.

I'm playing Zelda atm but I should get my graphics higher though :p

EDIT: Just tried to reboot again : didn't work :o well , not with 1+2... it did work with A+Z. After this you have to do Refresh in dolphin though

EDIT EDIT: So my conclusion is, the first time you connect your Wii Mote to your USB Bluetooth, make sure you connect/sync with 1+2, the next times you reboot, you should connect with A+Z. Works just fine !

Question
Hi

Luckily out of the 2 wiimotes I bought (red and black) both with motionplus inside, the red one works fine. The red RVL-CNT-01 came with a game WiiPlay Motion and I bought it from Tesco in the UK, if that helps anyone looking for that version. The black one I bought on its own from Amazon.co.uk is the RVL-CNT-01-TR.

I am having a problem getting the led to show on a RVL-CNT-01-TR wiimote. I don't have a toshiba bluetooth dongle, mine is a Trust (http://www.trust.com/products/product.aspx?artnr=17772) and it shows up under bluetooth settings hardware as Atheros AR3011 bluetooth 3.0 and Microsoft bluetooth enumerator. It is back compatible with v2.1 bluetooth, etc. I tried installing the recommended xoppa Toshiba 8 (http://www.sitecom.com/download/4791/toshiba_8.htm) but this doesn't recognise my bluetooth dongle - it asks me to connect it, I connect it and it doesn't find it, I'm guessing it's because it isn't made by Toshiba. I have tried using Dolphin build dolphin-tr-x64 and this has the same issues as the 3.0-408 x64 version I was already using.

My other Wiimote with motionplus inside works ok (RVL-CNT-01) no problems so far.

From no Wiimote's connected... Using Add Device from the bluetooth tray icon I can connect my RVL-CNT-01-TR, the drivers install and it shows up under bluetooth devices (see attached image). All the led's stop flashing when it's connected, pressing A or Z makes no led's flash. I open Dolphin, click wiimote, click refresh or pair-up (with Real Wiimote selected) and the number of Wiimote's connected changes from 0 to 1. However, no led lights up on the RVL-CNT-01-TR wiimote and the wiimote doesn't rumble. It is not recognised in any games. Huh

I've read through the 39 pages of this thread about RVL-CNT-01-TR and I'm confused about what to do when I can't use the Toshiba dongle. Not that I think connection with Windows 7 x64 is a problem because the RVL-CNT-01-TR is connected (see attached image). Can someone help? Or is this something everyone else is having a problem with and we're waiting for the people who make Dolphin work to fix the RVL-CNT-01-TR problem?

My RVL-CNT-01-TR works, I just plug in my Bluetooth dongle open the bluetooth application then press A+Z and it connects, no lights are showing yet.

Then I open Dolphin, go to WiiMote and it automaticly connects (I don't even have to click on pair or refresh)

Try removing the device from the bluetooth menu and add it again but this time with A+Z

Thanks bOyka8 but my wiimotes are only discoverable by my bluetooth after pressing 1+2. Pressing A+Z makes the led's flash but does not allow my bluetooth to see/discover it. Only pressing 1+2 makes my bluetooth see/discover it. I cannot make my bluetooth find it by pressing A+Z with either of my wiimotes, even the RVL-CNT-01 which works with all games I run in Dolphin does not make itself discoverable by bluetooth by pressing A+Z, only pressing 1+2 does that.

As I said in my post... I have no problem getting the wiimote to connect to bluetooth or making it visible/connected under the wiimote menu in Dolphin. I can add it as a bluetooth device with no problems, just like other real wiimotes (except this one has the name RVL-CNT-01-TR). When I click on the wiimote menu and select Real Wiimote, yes I have to click refresh or pair-up to get it to show as connected in the wiitmote menu, sometimes I have to do this with my other wiimote RVL-CNT-01 with which I have no problems playing games in Dolphin. You say yours does this automatically without pressing anything, my RVL-CNT-01 sometimes does this, other times I have to click on refresh.

The problem with my RVL-CNT-01-TR is that after making it connected in Dolphin, Dolphin doesn't make any led light up (such as the 1st led for number 1 wiimote), it doesn't make it rumble when I click refresh (like my RVL-CNT-01 does) and it doesn't allow it to work in any games.

I didn't read earlier posts properly when I speed read all 39 pages in this thread, especially the one by cjalbert on page 19. I thought that the Toshiba 8 bluetooth stack (http://www.sitecom.com/download/4791/toshiba_8.htm) recommended by xoppa had to recognise my Trust/Atheros bluetooth dongle, which it didn't... so I thought I was stuck and I couldn't get my RVL-CNT-01-TR to work. Reading page 19 again I realised I had to edit the tosrfusb.inf installed by the Toshiba 8 bluetooth stack application. In the file tosrfusb.inf found at C:\Program Files (x86)\Toshiba\Bluetooth Toshiba Stack\Drivers\tosrfusb I had to input the Hardware ID for my dongle: %TosrfUsb.DeviceDesc150%=TosrfUsb_Device, USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3002 under both the first list and the second x64 list, and I entered a name TosrfUsb.DeviceDesc150 = "Trust 17772 Atheros Bluetooth USB Controller" in the last list in the tosrfusb.inf file. All edited in notepad in Windows 7. I then opened the Add New Connection program under TOSHIBA in my programs list, it completed the install because it recognised my bluetooth dongle. I then followed these instructions:

1. Click to pair a new device (by right clicking on the new blue bluetooth icon in the Windows system tray, this opens the Toshiba bluetooth application), follow the instructions and press the 1 and 2 button on the TR remote enter discovery mode. The remote should now be listed as paired device.
2. Right click the TR and select connect, a dialog pops up.
3. Press the A button on the remote and click OK on the dialog.
4. The remote should be connected now, but no leds. Check this by pressing the A button, no leds should blink. If leds start to blink restart from 2.
5. Open Dolphin (first close if it was still open), make sure it has the code changes stated above, hit the Wiimote button and press refresh.
6. One led on the TR should light up indicating it's number and the TR rumbles. If not hit refresh again or restart from 2.

My new black RVL-CNT-01-TR now works and I can have both that and my red RVL-CNT-01 paired in Dolphin! Awesome Big Grin I'm now a once again a happy Dolphin user Smile

The only issue now is that the Toshiba application is saying "Evaluation Period 30 days" Sad any suggestions how to solve this problem? Can I pay for it somewhere?
