Great news Smile is it safe to install the toshiba stack if you have a windows stack already working with a non TR. I dnt want to mess anything up in win7. what version of dolphin are you using?

Thanks gergc, I add my device ID to tosrfusb.inf and now Toshiba stack work for me but now I have another problem, I pair the TR successfully but when I try to connect the TR, i push the A button on remote but never connect, the program tell me that the device is not connected. Only when I tried to connect 40 times, it worked. Later I try to connect again but never work again. I tried 100 times more and nothing Sad

This question may sound stupid, but what is a stack? I'm German and the translation doesn't really help me...^^" I think I have the same problem... After finding this thread I looked up the name of my WiiMote and had to find out that it is a TR too D:

I've been messing with this for about 12 hours now. I asked for a Bluetooth dongle and Wii motes for Christmas to use with dolphin and was not happy when they didn't work (TR version of course).

I have a Medialink Version 3.0+HS Class 2 Bluetooth USB Adapter ordered from Amazon and the black Wii mote. I downloaded the latest source and recompiled after adding updated PID and device description. This allowed me to pair the device in dolphin a few times but buttons didn't work.

My adapter ships with the WIDCOMM bluetooth stack. I also tried the generic Microsoft stack. I also obtained the Toshiba stack and after adding my dongle ID to the INF as suggested it installed. I can pair the remote in Windows using any of these 3 stacks. I've had the least amount of success with the Toshiba stack though. When I try to pair it in Dolphin, I get a popup stating that the device was not found and that only the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack is supported.

I was excited to see that the Toshiba stack my resolve the issue along with a minor recompilation, but that doesn't appear to be the case here. Very disappointed.

Also, for anyone who downloaded the Toshiba stack previously in this thread, it is only a 30 day evaluation copy.

Back to the drawing board.... :-(

Update, if i push 1+2 when im trying to connect the TR, its connect but only for 3-4 seconds, later lost the connexion. Argggggg whats happening?!!?!? im gona crazy with this :S:S

True, its a 30 day evaluation copy
SOLVED!!! sorry for re-post xD i write a mini-tutorial explain this (based on xoppa tutorial):

1. Click to pair a new device, follow the instructions and press the 1 and 2 button on the TR remote enter discovery mode. The remote should now be listed as paired device.
2. Right click the TR and select connect, a dialog pops up.
3. Press the 1 and 2 button on the remote and leds start to blink, when the leds stop click OK on the dialog.
4. The remote should be connected now, but no leds. Check this by pressing the A button, no leds should blink. If leds start to blink restart from 2.
5. Open Dolphin (first close if it was still open), make sure it has the code changes stated above, hit the Wiimote button and press refresh.
6. One led on the TR should light up indicating it's number and the TR rumbles. If not hit refresh again or restart from 2.
The TR should now be fully functional.

So, bottom line is theres no solution and likely wont be one for some time so I might as well take back my wiimote and forget about Dolphin for a while?

I added my device ID to the file like greggc suggested, and I now have it working in Xoppa's modified dolphin release. Pairing the remote is still a little buggy with my controller, but I can still get it working. Thanks everyone for the help. I still hope this issue can be solved through using the microsoft stack, as most users aren't going to want to deal with all of this side work to get their remote working.

Well what do you know. I followed warnimon's instructions and now it is working for me also. Still seems a little buggy to get connected pair initially but that is OK for now.

I was poking around the rest of the code and there are other areas that might need updating. I'm not going to commit any changes

Now for the 30 day trial problem....

Posted before finishing the post :-)

The device name is also referenced in Sysconf.cpp and WII_IPC_HLE_Device_usb.cpp. (Of course size of strings and buffers must be updated as well).

I would stage the changes but I'm just updating for my personal use and it would break backwards compatibility.
