http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/iss...il?id=5011 Xoppa has it working...I tried using the builds provided and my TR pairs but no rumble, no LEDs, doesn't seem to be taking any inputs. I'm using the windows BT stack though. I wonder if I use the Toshiba stack as stated if it'd work. I don't think I'll have time to test today but hopefully someone else can do it or I can get to it this week. 12-26-2011, 04:48 AM
That might be an aspect of the problem. I found that pairing the TR requires much more actions than the normal remote. Pairing the TR with the 1 + 2 buttons isn't enough, after that I have to re-pair using another (i.e. the A button). This might take a few tries, but the toshiba stack is very clear in whether to remote is connected or not. Sometimes I need to click the refresh button in Dolphin for it to work. Only after that the LED goes on and the remote rumbles. Before that actions it looks "dead", only shows up as bluetooth device. I had a few times ingame (only within Wii Party) where the TR remote lost it's connection, perhaps because of inactivity (which is probably caused by the Toshiba stack).
Tested on both my media PC and develop laptop, both W7x64 (1 with SP1, 1 without SP1), extenal USB Bluetooth 2.1 adapter using the Toshiba 8.0 stack. Both RVL-CNT-01-TR (0x0330) and RVL-CNT-01 (0x0306) and each individual. 12-26-2011, 06:54 AM
BAM! Xoppa has the secret ingredient. The toshiba stack made this work. He's right that the TR is a little finicky when syncing, but once synced it works very well. (I just got second in a Mario Kart race.) I don't have a sensor bar so I can't speak for IR though. I'm on Win7 64bit with Toshiba 8.0 stack. Let me know if someone would like me to test something.

OSX Lion user here - can't wait for this to work! All the best to the developers.

It would be nice to have this working on the windows stack though, it is a bit of a hassle to go and install a lot of other drivers just to get the new remote working. I have one of the new remotes if anyone needs me to do testing. 12-26-2011, 09:42 AM
So is there a toshiba stack you guys are using that works whether or not the bluetooth adapter was made by them? I have an IOGEAR USB 2.1 Bluetooth Micro Adapter (GBU421), using the widcomm stack. (I think. I had to reinstall winodws a while back and forgot if I reinstalled the widcomm drivers. Pretty sure I did.) Same problems as rgfreek. :[
Tried to get the toshiba stack regardless of what the site said but it said my computer wasn't fit for it. 12-26-2011, 02:41 PM
I also have issues with the Toshiba bluetooth stack. I cannot install it because it does not detect my dongle. I have a dongle that can sync older wii remotes though, although I haven't synced one for a few years. My dongle uses the WIDCOMM stack, will sync up with the TR remote, and is even recognized in Dolphin, but no buttons or lights or rumble works. I used the modified binary for x64 provided by Xoppa.

I have it working with the Toshiba stack. I had the same issue as djhazee - I solved it by adding my device ID to (program files or program files (x86))\Bluetooth Toshiba Stack\Drivers\tosrfusb\tosrfusb.inf
