Nice find. I just got everything to use Dolphin and just found out my mote is the new -TR so I'm in the same boat as well. :/ I'm going to send this guy a message to hopefully just make the need for his help known.

Like I said, I have a -TR mote so let me know what I can do. At the very least, I'm pretty proficient and figuring things out. Good Luck!

The buttons work. No gyro, LEDs blink like they're syncing but the buttons work.

I haven't had time to work on this much between work and the holidays. Hopefully in the new year I'll be able to dig in some more.

I just downloaded the app and attempted to use it with my mote and it would not connect. Let me know if you'd like any specific info about my mote. The basic are that it pairs as Nintendo RVL-CNT-01-TR and is MODEL: RVL-036

I'm Piki, the developer of WiimoteController by Android (owner of http://android.ccpcreations.com/).

As I understand, some of you have acces to the new wiimotes. Could anyone tell me where (on ebay, ship to Europe) I could buy one of these remotes that identifies itself as "...-TR"? I don't want to buy a knock-off that will not be like this and I wish to support it in my app.

If I'm successful, I will post details about the communication to the wiibrew wiki which will allow all developers (including Dolphin developers) to support the new hardware.

Was my first Wii Remote which I bought and I had the luck to got a new one .. and found this thread after 5 hours while I was looking for the problem.

Sweet. I too have one and while I don't know C or how to code a driver I'm very capable of learning and am very dedicated so anything you would like me to test, just let me know. Also, the more direction you can give us, the more we'll push.

My brother connected my new Wiimote TR to his Android and played Mario on it. He said he had to do a little config but it worked fine. I haven't had a chance to test this yet but I thought your app worked fine with the new versions. Like I said though, I haven't actually tested it.

Also - thanks for the great apps and thanks for helping out here! You aren't obligated to do any of this so I really appreciate it.

Just to keep this thread up on how to pair and get rumble working for the new mote make the following changes. It has not been confirmed that this helps the TR-mote do anything but pair and rumble:
