So I have been using the Motion plus controllers for over a week with no issue to speak of. I followed the guide for pairing them using the Toshiba stack and it worked flawlessly. So the other night I connected them and loaded up Wii Play, and when I loaded the save state the controllers stopped responding (but remained connected) and the cursors started scrolling on its own. So I shut off dolphin and they disconnected. So I went into the Toshiba Window and the icons for the remotes were still there but showed them disconnected.

I tried to reconnect them and they would connect for a short second (you could see the green and yellow lines on the Icons) and immediately disconnect. I tried removing the driver and reinstalling them and same thing. I also tried reinstalling the Toshiba stack and that made no difference either. I tried using my standard wii remotes and they connect fine so its not a btstack issue, or at least i doubt it. I have two RVL-CNT-01-TR and they both did this at the same exact time, so no they are not broken. They are brand new from game stop so they are not knock offs. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

I'm having this exact same issue although I have never managed to get the -TR remote to connect once; little green/yellow connection appears for a second then goes away. I am using the Toshiba Bluetooth stack and have another regular Wiimote that pairs and works just fine. The -TR remote shows up in Device Manager as a "Bluetooth HID Port" same as the regular Wiimote so it appears to have a driver but it doesn't stay connected in the Bluetooth menu for more than a second let alone get found by Dolphin.

First of all, savestates are unstable so some connectivity issues after loading a state is not unusual.

As for your issue, the -TRs can get a little weird when they aren't paired in a while. Pair it with your wii again and then try connecting them to your computer, and see if that fixes it. If you don't have a wii, wiipair can work instead.

So I re synced them with a wii and retried it and they work now... I will have try this with wiipair next time to confirm it works as using a wii isn't always an option for me... Thank you for the tip.
