This isn't necessarily Dolphin Specific, but has anyone seen or heard anything about these yet? I'm assuming it's one of the newer batchest of Wiimotes as it's what I picked up here today in Japan. It's a Wiimote Plus with the built in sensor and I've already heard mixed reports on those things, and it seems to act a bit differently than the regular RVL-CNT-01. For starters, it manages to connect via BT as a Game Controller and the four lights continuously blink. It's not recognized in Dolphin at all, though it doesn't seem to do much in Windows either. A Google search turns up nothing and so I thought I'd see if anybody has seen this yet - and if not, you may want to stay away from these for the time being.[Image: N6uNJ.png]

Yes, I have the same issue.

Current promotional set (2-Pack: motionPlusInside Motes)
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/controllers/index.html#limitedSet

First time using dolphin. Thought it was my Bluetooth dongles.
Tried 4 different dongles(3 different stacks BLUESOLIEL,TOSHIBA, WINDOWS DEFAULT),
all connect to the remotes as RVL-CNT-01-TR
Recognized by windows but non connect to DOLPHIN, GLOVEPIE or PPJOY.

Today, picked up an old mote(without motionPlusInside)
and it connects to Dolphin with no issue.

Has anyone found a solution?

Thanks

Well, thanks for making me feel less crazy! I'll have to go out and pick up an older Wiimote later today. Hopefully these will work sometime!

I just picked up one of these new Wiimotes from the shop and I can't get it to hook up to Dolphin for the life of me! I tried using Bluesoleil but all I get is incompatibility from Dolphin saying it only supports Windows stack. So right now I'm trying to figure out if I need to get an old Wiimote with a Motion Plus attachment (I'm wanting it to work for Skyward Sword) or if I should see if this gets fixed in a later update for Dolphin...

You're not crazy, I'm having the same issue too. From what I've read, people swear to making this new remote work, but I'm not sure how though.

Mine is definitely not a Dolphin issue, but indeed Windows. Using BlueSoleil, I can get it to connect, but it drops the Bluetooth link almost immediately. Unlike a third party controller that works perfectly. Might have to return this new Wii-Remote...

I was able to get a 3rd party controller that I have working using the Toshiba drivers-- but I'm taking back the new Wiimote that I purchased.

I am having the same issue....

Went out and bought all the components to do dolphin (bar/wiimote+ integrated/nunchuck/bluetooth)
Pair the wiimote with bluetooth and it shows as RVL-CNT-01-TR. But it isnt detected in dolphin.
I tried every single solution on the forum with no luck.

Should we expect that this new wiimote will be compatible at some point?
Can this be added to the next release of dolphin?
Or should i just return all of it?

I got one old Wiimote that I need to plug in a motion plus to and one brand new Wiimote with the motion plus built in.

Both the old Wiimote and the brand new Wiimote with built in motion plus shows up as RVL-CNT-01 and connects fine both in Windows and in Dolphin.
The brand new one should have come up as RVL-CNT-01-TR right???

Anyway I don't know anything more about this. You guys must have the super duper ultra brand new Wiimotes or something.

As with samsung102, I also picked up the promotional 2-pack (See here.

It definitely looks like it's a connectivity problem between Windows and this new version of controllers. Until that gets resolved, I doubt there is anything Dolphin can do about it. You're better off sticking to the older controllers.

Some of the other posters - are you getting the same TR identifier with new white and black ones or do you happen to be one of us wooed by pretty colors here in Japan?

The brand new Wiimote with built in motion plus that I bought a couple of weeks ago is Black.
The old one which came with the Wii is white.
No TR what so ever, don't even know what it stands for, must be something special with yours?
