Running XG3 gives me a black screen

When I start/run XG3 on Dolphin 3.0-710-dirty all I get is a black screen (with some yellow text on it in the top left corner).

Running it in Dolphin SVN revision 4727 seems to work but in that version I can't configure my controller for Dolphin.

Any ideas what I could do to get it to work in the latest version? Or I was thinking maybe I could find the first version that supports controllers/gamepads and see if it works in that, but I'm not entirely sure how to find that version.

Be sure to fill out your hardware specs properly too. For you settings, we need the following screens: Click the Graphics button and look at the General, Hacks, and Enhancement tabs. Click the Config button and look at the General tab. Those are usually the most relevant settings we need to know.

Also, try Dolphin 3.0, that might do something for you.

It's a known issue. Use Dolphin 3.0 and have a look to this http://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=XG3:_Extreme_G_Racing

it's not broken, startup just takes some time, game does something like trying to play or playing video silently for about a minute, after that it boots. Not sure if you need to press some buttons on gamepad.

You're right. "A" button has to be pushed. After that the game should work just fine

Really, that would be great. Have a "special connection" to this little game, cause it reminds me of things happened in my personal life during the time ive played XG3.

The PS2-version has similar porblems on PCSX2. I will test both versions again Smile
