I'm trying to get majora's mask running. Dolphin launches the ocarina of time title.tmd file just fine but when I try to do the same with Majora's Mask I just end up on a black screen with 0 FPS. I've also tried extracting the rom from the romc file to run on my N64 emulator but my emulator tells me the rom file isn't a valid rom. Am I doing something wrong or can I just not get Majora's Mask up and running?

The VC version of Majora's Mask doesn't work well in Dolphin. (The Collector's Edition disc for the GameCube is fine, though.) There are some details at https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=The_Legend_of_Zelda:_Majora%27s_Mask

Is there any way for me to get a working rom from the romc file or is that also just a dead end? I don't own a GameCube copy of the game, only VC and an N64 Collectors Edition which I don't have the hardware to dump.

I don't have a way of getting one of those versions and I don't have a save I'm looking to transfer. Just the game.

I already did that but it doesn't work. In fact Majora's mask is already listed as a game that doesn't work for that. I was just hoping something had changed in the past couple years and someone had gotten it working. Guess not.

EIDT: After some googling I found a romc version 2 decompressor called romchu, link below, that can successfully decompress Majora's Mask and run it in an N64 emu.
