Currently I can only run Animal Crossing at a passable rate. I've tweaked settings around for hours and hours trying different things to no avail. Is my PC somehow not strong enough for these games?

MSI 990FXA-GD80 Mobo
AMD 8350 Processor at 4.0ghz
HD Radeon 7970 6GB x 2 (I have tried with and without Xfire no difference)
32 GB Corsair Vengeance Ram
I know my temps aren't a problem as I've done lots of streaming and benchmarking before.

Any help with this would be appreciated. I want to play pikmin 2 and ssbm without horrible stutter if it's possible.

AMD cpu's have very low IPC which make them bad for Dolphin, plus Dolphin can only use 2 cores so it doesn't matter that you have 8. Use latest developer revision or OC.

That was a mistake. It's windows 7 Ultimate as Home premium caps Ram at 16gb. I know I don't need 32 i meant to buy 16 but didn't read that they came in doubles. Also I installed the x86 dolphin over x64 so that's why it was running so poorly. It's running nicely now.
