I dumped the Gamecube bios and turned on LLE Recompiler and XFM Virtual I also unchecked skip bios and dumped my gamecube's iso to the correct folder which is sys > usa right? the file is named IPL.bin I don't know how to run it whenever I run a game it checks skip bios and the bios don't run either is there bios that come with dolphin? I think I heard that but I don't know

Running a bios will make you get the LEAST out of the emulator as improvements such as scaled EFB copies and higher resolutions are impossible with real XFB, and thanks to new updates, HLE is almost as accurate as LLE in all situations, improving speed in many areas. There's no good reason to run the bios except debugging purposes

Dolphin isn't an emulator that tends to run games better with a BIOS with the exception of a few obscure bits that Jhonn mentioned.
Most, if not all games very much benefit from not having these things because then Dolphin can provide a lot of enhancements and speed improvements. |
