My setup, Intel core 2 quad 2.0, not sure of exact model, Also not sure of how up to date the drivers are, anyone know off top their head where i can upgrade my cpu drivers?
Nvidia GTX 260M 1 gig
6 gigs of ram
Windows 7 64 bit < this may be why.. is there something speciffic i need, or has 64 bit been causing problems?

Thanks, ive only run Super smash bros melee and Sonic adventure 2 battle both run slow, maybe 30 Frames.. my rig is farrrrrrrr beyond that... why is it so slow?

Your CPU is running at quite low frequiencies.
2.5ghz would be acceptable for GC games.

Having a 64bit OS is a plus, would run slower otherwise.

Also, what video plugin are you using, and what is your current "Copy EFB to..." setting in the video plugin?

Overclocking, or getting a better cpu.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overclocking
To get you started about the benefits and risks.

If you got more questions, there is another thread around here about overclocking, with lots of interesting discussions.

Do you think i could Overclock this Enough to play brawl well? how much increase would that be and about how much hotter/riskier would that be?

Before taking that into consideration, do you have the Framelimiter disabled?

DX9 plugin + Framelimiter disabled should do wonders.
(Disable Copy EFB to RAM if you have it enabled)

On my CPU, running at 2.3ghz, I can nearly reach fullspeed on those settings on 4 player matches.

I get from 45-50 (full) VPS rate (actual speed in SSBB) and 25-35 FPS on 4 player matches.
You should be getting similar VPS and full FPS

actaull I set only 2 tab in properties optimization/code generation

I don't want to give my setting since it maybe ruin your combination mix and match

**Not test**

I'm using the SSE3 x64 build, you may check with CPU-Z whether your CPU supports SSE4.1 or not. If so, then get the SSE4.1 build.
