So I'm fairly new to dolphin and have been trying to run pokemon colsseum, however, right away I noticed that the sound had a few major problems (missing instruments, skipping, chirping etc.) so I dumped my audio and tried using LLE which fixed all my audio problems but introduced a new one. The game lagged like crazy (my speed dropped from 100% to about 30 and my fps from 60 to about 15 or so). I have dual core and idle skipping enabled and fog disabled, is there anything else I can do to speed up my game?? If it helps, I am running dolphin on a bootcamp windows partition.

my specs:

13" 2011 Macbook pro
Windows 7 home premium 64-bit
Intel Core i5 processor @ 2.3GHz
4GB of RAM
Intel HD3000 chipset

LLE requires a significant amount of CPU processing power to correctly perform at decent speeds. The specs on your computer are far too low to do so with this game. Fwiw, not even heavily OCed Ivy Bridge chips (at 4.0 GHz and above) have been able to play this game in Dolphin with LLE without experiencing some sort of slowdown. Some games in Dolphin are simply too demanding, even for the best of today's hardware.

that's too bad, is there any other way to fix the sound issue (other than using LLE)?

Usually, no. If HLE audio messes up the sound, LLE audio is most often the only option that will fix it. Sometimes playing with the audio backend works for minor sound issues, though it doesn't help in most cases.

You cant use LLE on dual core for most games.
You need to have atleast 3 cores, because LLE performs much better when it uses third core.
This is accomplished by enabling option LLE on thread.
