Hey i'm having a problem at the moment, when i play runefactory Tides of Destiny, i've only just started but half of the world is covered with a blank black texture that follows me around at a set distance, it's very odd.

The textures for half of the screen are black as can be seen in the screenshots, here are my specs and settings:

Intel i7 3610QM 2.3 GHZ

Nvidia Geforce GTX 660M

12 GB RAM

As for graphic settings inside Dolphin it's:

Directx9 (I can't change this for some reason? It's grayed out)

Resolution 1366x768
Vsync: on
AA: 4x
Antisotropic filtering at 4x

Scaled EFB checked
Fast Depth calculation checked
Ignore format changes checked

Do you have the latest drivers for your GPU?
Try changing the backend before you start the game. (the only time I can think of Dolphin graying out the backend is during a game)

Try the latest developer version from here: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/

Make sure you're not running the game while you try to change it. Also, try switching backends (OpenGL if you're not using it, D3D11 if you're not using it). Note that if you try the latest revisions like KHg8m3r suggesting, D3D9 has been removed, and D3D stands for D3D11.
