Don't worry, it's not a dumb question at all, and in fact being ignorant about the answer would be the best way to approach the subject. The only way it could be considered "dumb" is if it's already been answered, which at point has nothing to do with the actual content of the question being asked.

It says modified at 11:58. That is directly after I made the following quoted post at 11:50 where I said I edited it for extra clarification:

Thank you. Why did it take this long for someone to say this?

(02-03-2014, 12:44 PM)tueidj Wrote: the extra hardware that would ordinarily be enabled doesn't exist under Dolphin, so assuming AHBPROT is preventing Riivolution from working is a flawed assumption making your "test" completely worthless.

Because it's a crime to try, right? If I followed your logic then I would have never discovered that my wireless mouse that is supposed to take two AA batteries will actually run on only a single AA battery. Alternatively I would have never discovered that if you copy a partition that has Devolution verification files on it to a new volume via GParted, and then even resize that partition, you will not have to re-verify any games for Devolution.

...do you even read my posts? Why do I even bother... to quote myself again...

You make it seem like I'm using Riivolution as a cover-up of an ulterior motive. I tried to get Devolution to work, it failed, but discovered in the process that it specifically states if AHBPROT is present. Since it requires fiddling with SD cards and homebrew and I had gone most of the way for that already, I figured I would see if I can get Riivolution working while using Devolution as a test to see if AHBPROT gets enabled if/when I can successfully lauch a homebrew app. Riivolution also failed. I then asked about the HBC on here, and in the same thread asked about ABHPROT and later specifically about Riivolution patches in general.

Must I tell the internet every little bit of my thought-process and every little action I do in my life?

(02-03-2014, 12:44 PM)tueidj Wrote: Again, why is it relevant who or what I'm associated with? You seem to be implying that there is something wrong with the actions of the HBC developers.

It just seemed to me that you have a conflict of interest regarding Dolphin in general.

And you'd be wrong, because my avatar is not a manga character but a visual novel character.
