I know this thing is older but I read about enough people using it while attempting to search anywhere and everywhere for this solution...
When tested in the dialog, none of the individual patterns seem to trigger anything but the high frequency motor(nor does it seem like any of the patterns show a difference at all). I've slid the output slider both ways, as well as the strength slider in the control panel. This thing has defeated me for a long time actually. Things like x360ce can at least tap both of the motors(although the labels are backwards). So I would like to think I'm simply missing the solution as opposed to there not being one.
Hopefully all relevant setup info:
build - 4.0.1 stable(x64)
Rumblepad2 model G-UF13(used through directinput in dolphin)
x64 logitech controller drivers(5.9.129.0 however the software claims 5.10.127)
win7 64 home
Appreciate any insight.
