Hey guys,

I've been having this issue for as long as I've had an xbox one controller. No matter what I do, I cant seem to get rumble working with it on any dolphin game. Not even the test works. However, the rumble does work on everything else (steam games, console).

I used to have an xbox 360 wireless controller, and rumble worked fine with dolphin on that one. I don't have it anymore though...

If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.

Here are the general controller settings as well as 3 different rumble configurations that I've tried.

All three of those configurations should work. They work here with an Xbox One controller. I don't know why it doesn't work for you.
Try closing steam perhaps?

I'm using the last configuration on my wired Xbox360 controller... works perfectly.
Check my profile for up to date specs.

As I mentioned in the op, when I had an xbox 360 controller back in the day it worked fine. It's just this controller. I've even completely scrubbed dolphin from my system and set it up again from scratch - still no luck.

Clearly there's something on my PC keeping this from working. It's about time for a clean reinstall of windows anyway, so I think I'm just going to do that and see if it makes a difference. I'll be back with the results.

I'm having the same problem.

I'm currently setting up a new computer and going from Win7 to Win10 I was finally able to use a Xbox One controller via Bluetooth (used a 360 wireless pad with USB adapter before). But there is no rumble with the controller. I'll keep looking into it but there isn't much to do wrong here...

Rumble works on Cemu. But I'm also having problems that I constantly need to re-register the controller. Sometimes with a few minutes, happens both on Dolphin and Cemu so I'm guessing that problem runs deeper than just Dolphin.

@TenmillionDead: did you manage to solve the problem on your side?

I'd actually been waiting to do a clean re-install until Windows 10 1909 came out yesterday. I just installed it from scratch and my rumble problem is gone.

Clearly something on my PC was impeding rumble somehow, but I've honestly got no clue what it was.

Ogni, I'm not sure what the problem you're having is caused by since it works for you in CEMU, but I can tell you from personal experience that connecting an xbone controller to pc through bluetooth and not the official adapter caused me endless problems. I had constant connection issues, massive (50+) frame drops in all games, and more... until I bought the official wireless adapter for pc. Not saying it'll solve your issue but if you have the money to spare I'd start there.
