Rollback updates

So recently it appears that my emulator seems to have updated on me without asking if I was okay with it (I would have denied it due to this circumstance).  This poses some difficulty as I was forced (due to an emergency) to use a state save when I last left the game I was playing.  Now I can't go back to the game where I left off, because as with all updates in recent memory this one instantly invalidated the state save I made less than 2 days ago.

So I decided to ask: Is there any way to roll back the emulator to the most recent version used before an update was done?  I really don't want to lose the hours of gameplay that I will if I have to go back to the last in-game save I made.

You can download the version manually from https://dolphin-emu.org/download/.

Okay thank you.

I went back and checked and it may not have been an update after all.  There was something about MMU and something else settings when I tried again.  I tried changing a couple settings and ended up getting the state save to work with an ignorable error.  I immediately saved in-game and reset and everything seems fine now with no lost time after all.
