just install and that's it. I usually disable the splash screen to save a few seconds 
i set the resolution to max (for my screen), looks fine, pop the gamma down to 0.5 otherwise it's a bit brighter than d3d (forget to mention that)
disable vysnc in nligde config tool but leave on ingame. allows the camera bug to be fixed via cycling through views. vysnc on causes the bug.
doesn't happen in d3d but fps are noticeably a bit slower, still playable, but you you only get 1280x1024 & black bars.
I take you selected glide in the launcher? other than there's nothing else to do, should work.
