Will this game ever be worked on by the Dolphin crew? I've done plenty of searching but don't see it listed anywhere or mentioned in any threads. Considering how decent the game is, it was rather surprisingly to see it somehow go completely forgotten by everyone. Don't tell me to go use the search option, because I did, and you want to know what came up? Nothing but "Rogue Squadron" results.
While the game seems to work, it has a frame rate issue that makes it nearly unplayable. It averages half the FPS of normal, rarely offering more than that. It doesn't seem to matter if you are in a firefight, or just looking at the ground, it is seemingly random. I've tried plenty of settings to improve this issue, but with no success. It only seems to happen during game play, the cut scenes usually run fine, although with sound glitches.
Rogue Ops also has sound glitches, but they aren't really noticeable that much. Tons of games have em. The game would be pretty well set if the frame issue was resolved some how. If only I could somehow increase the game speed and get out of the permanent slow motion mode. If anyone has found out how to fix it, I'd be all ears. Until then, a few levels of slow motion was all I could take. But I'm patient, sure waited forever for Eternal Darkness to be playable(And it still isn't perfect, as Save State don't work, frame rate still drops sometimes, and cut scenes often have no sound, but it's still great to be able to play). Just want to know if it'll ever get looked at by anyone, or continue to remain forgotten.
