Will this game ever be worked on by the Dolphin crew? I've done plenty of searching but don't see it listed anywhere or mentioned in any threads. Considering how decent the game is, it was rather surprisingly to see it somehow go completely forgotten by everyone. Don't tell me to go use the search option, because I did, and you want to know what came up? Nothing but "Rogue Squadron" results.

While the game seems to work, it has a frame rate issue that makes it nearly unplayable. It averages half the FPS of normal, rarely offering more than that. It doesn't seem to matter if you are in a firefight, or just looking at the ground, it is seemingly random. I've tried plenty of settings to improve this issue, but with no success. It only seems to happen during game play, the cut scenes usually run fine, although with sound glitches.

Rogue Ops also has sound glitches, but they aren't really noticeable that much. Tons of games have em. The game would be pretty well set if the frame issue was resolved some how. If only I could somehow increase the game speed and get out of the permanent slow motion mode. If anyone has found out how to fix it, I'd be all ears. Until then, a few levels of slow motion was all I could take. But I'm patient, sure waited forever for Eternal Darkness to be playable(And it still isn't perfect, as Save State don't work, frame rate still drops sometimes, and cut scenes often have no sound, but it's still great to be able to play). Just want to know if it'll ever get looked at by anyone, or continue to remain forgotten.

6g RAM, 2.5GHz quad processor, ATI Radeon HD4650 video card, Vista 64 bit. A few revision versions. This latest for me, 6206, I was using to play Eternal Darkness, which was the first to make it playable. I will keep updating regularly and trying the game more, but I don't expect any changes at this point.

Not expecting any miracles, just wanted to know if it was on anyone's list to get attention, like Eternal Darkness was. When I knew that was on their list I happily waited for the results. I don't think it'd be that hard to fix it though, as it's just a frame rate issue. It doesn't ever crash or freeze, it just runs in slow motion. From what I've seen, their biggest issues fixing wise are from games that refuse to boot up at all, or crash/freeze during cut scenes or game play.

It'd be great if someone could do a little bit of touch-up work getting Rogue Ops to work on Dolphin.

It really is a great underrated game--someone get on it, lol!

With the newest revisions, for me anyway, the game has risen from around 50% speed to around 75%, and the cut scenes run a lot better too. But until it's over 90%, I wouldn't recommend it. I find it is higher with a small resolution as well, but unless the box is absolutely tiny, it will be running much slower than normal.
