Rockband Controller unrecognized by Guitar Hero

I recently bought a Wired PS3 Rockband Drum kit from Goodwill, came in really good condition, and it works just fine past the button layout. Problem is, when I try to use it for Guitar Hero, it won't recognize any inputs aside from the d-pad. I've tried GH5, GH: Smash Hits, and Band Hero to no avail. Any suggestions?
