Since the our Wii died recently, I am trying to bring it back with Dolphin so we can once again enjoy our Rock Band collection.

I have been messing around with passthrough/not passthrough, USB drivers, configuration, etc.  And I am close, but I can not get the game, specifically Rock Band 3, to see the guitar.  I probably have a bad configuration somewhere and want help on what to try next.

Current config and status...

Bluetooth dongle (CSR8510 A10) with the libusbK driver

Controller Settings / Passthrough a Bluetooth adapter

Config Settings / Wii / Whitelisted USB Passthrough Devices
  0a12:0001 - Unknown   (Bluetooth dongle)
  abad:3010 - Unknown   (Guitar dongle)

When I setup the libusbK with passthrough on the dongle, I was able to connect the Wii Remote.  Everything I tried prior to that didn't work and this represents my first working state with the wii remote (I accept it may not be the best working state)

As for the guitar, I have solid blue lights (when on) on the dongle and guitar ring.  Ok, so those are talking.  But I never get a controller connection with Dolphin.  From the Dolphin logs, it appears to see the guitar.

26:54:297 InputCommon\ControllerInterface\ControllerInterface.cpp:225 N[SI]: Added device: DInput/0/Harmonix Guitar Controller for Nintendo Wii

Yet in game, I get nothing from the guitar.  No controller light, no input, no game interaction.  Sad

Suggestions?

If the guitar controller is showing up in ControllerInterface like your log says it sounds like you haven't replaced its driver using Zadig like you have for your Bluetooth adapter.
Don't whitelist your Bluetooth dongle in Dolphin's USB passthrough whitelist. USB passthrough is separate from Bluetooth passthrough.

Awesome.  Thank you.  Those two changes solved my issues.
