I'm aware that the links are down, for w/e reason someone put a copyright infringement on the files so MEGA took it down.
I'm not sure where i'm breaking the rules so i've contacted MEGA to see what's going on, links are gonna be up whenever they answer me back.
Good luck with that, I tried contacting both mediafire and mega in the past and both just ignored that I existed. I also just recently had some texture pack links taken down as well for the millionth time, supposedly reported by antipirateria@fap.org.es. Texture packs are always being mistaken for pirated content, so my strategy is to keep posting links until the account gets closed, then open a new one and do it all over again...
It does help to password + encrypt the file names of your packs, since I started doing that the duration they remain online has tripled. Its a small inconvenience to the end user but its an even bigger inconvenience to you when you have to keep reuploading it all the time. Xenoblade packs were taken down after about 1-2 months, now they last as long as 6 months and still remain alive. Though my NSMBW pack gets taken down all the time no matter what strategy I take. It seems Nintendo is very protective of their pasta loving mascot.
Perhaps you could try a different host? I have been using Google Drive and Dropbox for my Super Smash Brothers 64 and Super Mario 64 texture packs and my contributions for the Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition texture pack. So far, there has never been any sign of takedown or takedown. Or perhaps, Nintendo 64 games are just too old to warrant any takedowns for texture packs. Granted, New Super Mario Bros. Wii sold a lot... A lot. I don't get it... Why do the 2D Mario Platformers sell better than the Super Mario Galaxy seems. Well at least two of your mirrors for your New Super Mario Bros. Wii texture pack still remains intact. But for how long?
If anyone still has the texture pack of this thread, it would be nice to see it uploaded to different hosts. Just for achieving purposes. It is always sad to see things get lost into the dark depths of the void on the internet.
Yeah the ones that are still up are Dropbox and 1fichier, links never seem to get taken down from those two. I don't really like using 1fichier because of the ads, but at least there's a place to download them. Dropbox doesn't provide much storage so I can only fit the Xenoblade packs and the NSMBW on it. I'd put them back up on mediafire and mega but I'm probably on my last strike with those 2 on my current accounts and I don't feel like making more unless I have to. Then I have to come up with a whole new email address I'll never use. It's really a pain.

Here you go: http://www.file-upload.net/download-1202...1.rar.html [don't click on the wrong link there... the blue 'download' button in the middle is the correct one] I don't know how long it will be up there, so go and get it

Thank you very much. For the rest of you, be careful which download link you click on the page that loads when you click on the html file.

Huh? Is there malware stuff on that host?

Edit Reason: edited link so no one accidentally clicks it
)
I don't know if it's malware, but there's two download links. On the left is a 'powered by ilivid' advertisement with a big green DOWNLOAD and a big orange PLAY NOW under it, and on the right is a blue button with a cloud and a down arrow inside of it that also has the word download on it. I can see that the green download button takes you to http://c o n t r a c t a u t o k e y.info/fiload?q=SOME01.rar and the blue one takes you to http://www.file-upload.net/download5.php...SOME01.rar. The blue one's correct. The green one stands out more but I wouldn't touch that one. (edited link so no one accidentally clicks it)
