Recently, I sold my wii for some side cash but retained my game collection. As I didn't want to give anything up, I decided the natural course would be to find an emulator. Dolphin was the first I came across, and for the most part it does its job flawlessly.
I'm baffled however at the inconsistency in my frames. The first game I tested was ToS2. I can manage 90% speeds when I'm in town, but in dungeons I dip to the low 50%s. Currently using the latest (I believe 6xxx).
Running at 1920x1080 native.
For those wondering my machine,
Asus G73jh-A2
i7-840QM @ 1.86-3.2GHz
ATI 5870M
8gb DDR3 @ 667, timed channels.
160 G2 Intel X25-M SSD
Seagate 500TB 7200RPM SATA II
