After looking around a bit, I found a revision and settings that allow my pc to play tales of symphonia at pretty consistent 60 fps with LLE sound (fully working music) for at least the first 5 minutes or so, including the first 2 battles. (haven't tested further because of my issue)

But what I notice with this revisions (7564), and others close to it, is that the emulator works perfectly the first time I run it, but if I close it completely, and start it up again, it fails right at the start of every game :/ (no error though)
In some it goes up to the first logo, some are just black or grey. It says 0 fps and 13 VPS with 21% speed. (which I don't get at all '^^)
If I turn on the option to show fps, it says 60 fps while the title bar says 0.
All of those games start perfectly well before the emu 'breaks' btw.

If I just delete all files except for the 'User' folder, and extract dolphin again while not overwriting the User folder, it works again, and I don't lose progress or anything, but it still bothers me.

Any idea why the emulator keeps breaking every time I close it? (And how to fix it would be great to know ^^)

Other info you might need:
pc:
amd phenom II x4 955 @ 3.20 GHz
gpu: ati radeon hd 5770 1GB
4 GB ram
windows 7 64-bit

I would normally look for another revision without this issue, but this has been the only one fast enough while being advanced enough to have fixed the music.

Uhm, well, I got this revision thanks to your thread in the first place :p

As per your thread:
"Dolphin SVN R7564 (Speed 8/10)(Compatibility 8.5/10)

I thought this one was pretty great too, It has fantastic compatibility as well"

I can't choose any other revision in your list, as the necessary expansions to the LLE sound weren't made back then, and just going with the newest rev makes it impossible for me to reach full speed with LLE.

Or did I miss the solution for my specific problem when reading your thread?
