Hi, firstly apologies if this topic has been covered - I searched and found nothing.

I am using a Retrolink USB Gamecube controller (one of these: http://www.goldenshop.com/ai/products.php?118)

It has installed correctly on my Windows 7 pc - but I can't activate it on Dolphin Emulator. Anyone else had this issue?

In the controller options section, 'generic USB Joystick' is shown but when I load the games they do not work. I have also tried enabling 'Background Input' to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you map those buttons with the keyboard, or the controller didn´t work there either?

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. Those were the default button maps (it was originally set to keyboard and mouse). When I changed the input method to the controller (as shown in the last image) nothing changed. I tried pressing buttons on the controller and moving the sticks etc, but nothing registered in Dolphins controller options menu...

Sorry - short answer, the controller didn't work on that screen either.

Does the controller work when it is tested in the Windows Game Controllers control panel?

Do you see SDL in the controller drop down list? If so give it a try.

How did you get it to work? Every time I plug it in the same thing happens. It is listed as a motioninjoy controller and under the joy.cpl window and the dolphin gcpad window only the buttons are recognized. Neither of my sticks work. How do I fix this problem. I have the retrolink usb gamecube controller as well.
