Retrolink controller works great in other emulators, but not working in Dolphin

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum so if I am posting in the wrong place I am sorry!! I am having trouble getting my Retrolink controller to work in dolphin. I know everyone hates these controllers, but it works flawlessly (c-stick and all) when i run N64 games in OpenEmu for mac!! I have the controller configured in Dolphin and it is responsive when I configure all of the buttons, but once I start the game it doesn't work at all. I have checked and unchecked Background Input and tried running other versions of dolphin, but nothing seems to work. I have tried it on three separate games.



I can provide any other screenshots needed! I'm sorry if I'm completely missing something. I just really want to play Super Mario Sunshine!!!
