Hi guys, first post. Couldnt find anything in the search. I currently have a retina 15in macbook pro with 2.3 quad processor, 8 gb ram, and 1 GB nvidia gt 650m.

i want to be able to play GC and wii games such as SMG 1+2, Zelda WW, TP, Mario kart wii connected to my tv in 1080p. Would it be possible? i would also want to play mario kart multiplayer with wii motes. I know its possible to do it with a powerful enough system, but is my retina macbook pro powerful enough?

It's not possible. You need a much faster processor for most of those games to run at full speed.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333

Mario Kart is not that demanding. Multiplayer mode will decrease your performance though
