Sometimes when on a game the resolution will change a bit and go back and forth depending on the gameplay textures or effects that are being displayed, I end up with either a full screen which is the intention or for brief moments I end up with some black bars on the right side and and on the bottom of the screen. When a rain effect comes up those bars get very messy kinda like having black ink splashed on the screen. I'm running on Linux and have tried Open GL and Vulcan backends with a ton of different settings but don't know what the issue could be. Currently using 5.0-9d44df0-dirty after setting up with the PPA, I tried and 5.0 and didn't have issues but was hoping to try the development version for a possible performance boost which I am getting with the exception of the weird issue with the Resolution.

When you cause rain in the game with rain dance or drizzle effect you get the black bars as well but they have like a splattered ink effect. 08-02-2020, 06:31 AM

Thanks for informing me about the bug for Pokemon Battle Revolution, guess I'll use the stable version of dolphin for that game for now. |
