Hi All,

Apologies if I have started this thread in the wrong place. I am having some issues with game play on Resident evil 1 remake using dolphin 4.0, it seems to have very jumpy audio which seems to be slowing down the game play speed and FPS. I don't know what the best settings are for my PC I have tried changing around a few things but nothing seems to work, any ideas? My Spec is below:

AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 2.4GHz

ATI Radeon HD3600 Sapphire

Windows 7 Pro 64bit

If you need any more information let me know.

Your hardware is very weak for Dolphin. Your cpu (perhaps gpu too) is just not going to cut it. Try updating to the latest development version as they are much faster, that's about as much as you can do.

There's nothing else at all? I did try the latest Dev version 4.002 or something simular and that seemed worse.

Not the latest stable, but the dev bulds 4.0-2139

Also, the Resident Evil games are some of the more demanding games, and your CPU is on the slower side due to having low single-core speeds (Dolphin is a dual-core program)

My CPU is dual core :S - I had it running normally before when I had my OS running on 32bit but all of a sudden it runs crappy on 64bit which I remember reading somewhere that the emulator should run better on a 64bit OS??

It does run better on the latest dev builds, but the GPU side is more demanding now, so try turning down the IR/AA/AF

Sorry, used to giving a knee-jerk reaction to AMD CPUs about Dolphin being a dual-core program, so a multi-core AMD will not use all its cores Tongue
