resident evil 4 for pc is so much better cuz it is so easy to mod and I know a really good mod site for re4 and re5 pc just hit me up and i will let you know cuz after you add all the mods to the game the whole game doubles in size and looks so much better and you can change anything you want and make it look better almost like 360

It runs perfectly with a stable framerate and without any glitches at all...

Because it looks like garbage.

No it doesn't if you apply all available patches Cool

Even though the patches make it better, it still looks like garbage. Granted things like textures have been improved with the community patches, but the PC version still lacks certain lighting and shading effects that the Wii/GC versions have. The GC/Wii versions also have realtime cutscenes as far as I know, I know the GC version does, just not completely sure about the Wii version.

Xtreme2damax, Wii version pwns all versions: it supports widescreen, real time cutscenes, best aiming, graphics and all bonus content. The only problem is that it came out 2.5 years late Tongue

Well yeah, the PC version would have been much better if it was based on the Wii version, except the Wii version came out too late. Tongue

I'm having two problems with Resident Evil 4, GameCube Version. I've seen people talking about these problems before, but never found a fix before.

1- Audio Desync on cutscenes: I've already played with lots of settings, enabling frame limit, disabling it, enabling audio throttle, disabling it.

2- Randomly colored points on the screen.

Does anybody knows how to solve any of them?

I've used lots of releases of the emu and in all of them the same problems happen.

i'm running windows xp, 32 bits. on an E7400 duo core processor, 4 GB of ram. The PC runs both Zelda games very very well, and Resident Evil 4 plays quite nicely with some fps drops, but the desync on the cutscenes is problematic to me.

Desyncs are because the video output is running slower than audio output, there are only two ways to solve or lessen the effect of this issue. The only way of solving the issue with desyncs are to have a PC fast enough to run the game full speed without slowdowns or use the LLE plugin. Using the LLE audio plugin presents it's own set of issues, it's more accurate and tightly synced with the rest of the emulator, hence is slow. Because everything is tightly synced, when video output is slow, so is audio output. The slowness of the audio output produces crackling, popping and the current experience with LLE is less than enjoyable. Perhaps once it is possible to run LLE with the performance of HLE, this won't be an issue anymore.

As for the randomly colored points on screen, I haven't seen this for a while. You may want to try messing with your settings, could also be related to your video card drivers.

Not really...PC can be enhanced with enb series, better textures, models, support for mouse, and all controllers out there, and re-encoded cutscenes.
IMO it looks better than the Wii version.

Wii version doesn't need any patches, yet it's badass. PC version is only better with enhancements and not by a whole lot.
