Hm, looks like good old spiky polygon syndrome in very small, doesn't it? Haven't seen that since the "optimize quantizers" option got kicked, except for Mario Power Tennis...

There is no such option anymore, it was removed long ago. Try using r7613 (this is Dolphin 3.0 official release) with the settings I've recommended in the first post of this thread and I suppose the performance problem will be gone. As for the graphic glitch - does Per Pixel Lightening really matter for the image quality and is it still buggy in r7613? If it is then you might as well create a bug report.

Is the music going to be fixed in resident evil 2 & 3 in any future revisions? The resident evil series is nearly perfect on dolphin.

Is not the Per-pixel Lighting is causing this issue is the cache display list (disable it)

Ive found out what made performance hit on that place in RE 0. It was option Accurate VBeam emulation in game ISO properties, which is , for some reason (probably LLE) enabled by default. So, use HLE and disable VBeam, and no slowdown there.

It seems that unless Accurate Vbeam emulation is checked in game properties there will be slowdowns in RE0 and the save room in RE1 with music with LLE.

I ticked Accurate Vbeam emulation for RE1 Remake and no more slowdowns in the save room with LLE. My Core i7 950 is OC'd to 4.2 Ghz, I'm using LLE Recompiler, LLE on Thread, Lock threads to cores. Ticking Accurate Vbeam emulation should fix the save room slowdown, because I was getting slowdowns until I enabled that.

Could this be generalized for most games? Is it on 3.0/recent builds?
