Resident Evil Series - Official Thread

I'm new to the forums so sorry if i am missing something obvious but i just cant figure out what i am doing wrong when i can't get Resident Evil Zero to work with decent fps? I configured all settings like they were in this topic but my fps in game never goes above 25 it's either 25 or sometimes drops a little and on menus and cutscenes it's always 50.

My system specs are following:

Intel Core i7-860@2,8Ghz
ATI Radeon HD 5870
Windows 7 64-bit
8Gb RAM

So does the game (or emulator) have some problems with quad core processors or something? That's the only solution i can think of.

Help will be appreciated.

and yes i have latest DirectX, .Net Framework etc. installed

Yes I know this... 30 is max fps!! But why when I enable armax cheats fps in the game decrease to 5 fps and speed to 40%? Help me please!!!

That is because you have the PAL version, only the NTSC version runs at at framerate of 30/60 fps......I would like to think that you knew that, because the only way you wouldn't know which game version you had would be if you downloaded the game, which by the way is illegal, which by the way, would get you banned from this website....

I just wanted to try play with the cheats activated, but the game is too slow and is unplayable!! or I can try to find a PAL savegame with everything unlocked ... You know where I can find it?

FOR RESIDENT EVIL CODE VERONICA X ON DOLPHIN 7442 WIN7X64
I have encountered a game breaking glitch on my end. In my hunting I have found anyone else who has suffered from this glitch. This has only happened when going into areas where the camera perspective becomes watery, as if looking through the water onto Claire.
It goes from being fine (though having that greenish tint and Claire being a dull neon Red) tooo.... this: SEE ATTACHED IMAGE
The crazy technocolor static even has the wavy effect of water. I've tired all suggested graphic options on the Main Thread, none have worked.
my system specs are as follows
Intel i5 processor at 2.84 ghz
Nvidia Gt 420m at 1GB
and 4 gigs of DDR2 Ram.
Windows 7 x64 Home Premium.
The Game version is NTSC-U before you ask. I do hope someone has a fix for this.

Well, you might want to specify "problem with sound" a bit more, but i see no real problems with your current audio setup. If you are experienced missing instruments or music cutting out, that is because you are using dsp hle rather than dsp lle.You can't use dsp lle unless you dump the 2 files from your WII or GC. You could try changing the audio backend, but i doubt that will help much.
