That might be the case, ive just tried to use cleanrip to dump it onto my 2gb usb, (doesnt work with my 4gb) and its giving me problems. Does anyone have any recommendations on what programs to use on the wii to rip the game? i used to use superdump but it doesnt work properly anymore. Thanks.

First of all, what revision are you using? Switching to another revision might help, as far as i know, R6505 should be one of the fastest (if not THE fastest revision atm). The last revision i used to play Darkside Chronicles was R7283, which gave me pretty much constant 30 fps (in-game of course). There are however some graphic issues with the projection hack in this revision, which can be avoided depending on settings. I didnt really play the game with this revision, it was more like testing, albeit ALOT of testing.

Your Intel Core2Duo might be capable of handling more advanced SSE instructions than my own CPU, which only supports up to SSE3. Try to get a revision with the highest Instruction set possible. I know Lectrode releases all of his builds with optimized instructions. If your CPU supports SSE4.1 or SSE4.2 you should see a speedup.

As for your settings:

Disable OpenCL,i've read that in most cases it is actually slower than regular CPU texture decoding (and no i am NOT reffering to the description in Dolphin)

Disable Safe texture cache and see if you cant run the game without it.

Set EFB scale to Fractional or 1x.

Try with a resolution lower than 720P. I just want you to try, to see wheter your GPU is really the problem or not. if your sure this is not the problem then nevermind this.

Kill "Pixel Depth" and "Force bi/trillinear filtering"

Thanks for all your suggestions, I tried R6505 and altered some of the settings you guys recommended, and Umbrella Chronicles runs MUCH better now, no more huge lag spike while the camera switches, it still slows down in some areas but it's totally PLAYABLE now, looks like the R6505 is a golden version for people don't have powerful computers. Haven't yet tried Darkside Chronicles, will give it a shot later. Thanks again, guys!

It turns out it was a bad dump, thanks alot. i was wondering if it is possible to play re4 wii edition with the gamecube controller on dolphin. Because it is possible on wii.

So, I've tried to run Umbrella Chronicles with the topic rev. and configs and all i got is 20 or less FPS

Even in lower resolutions or with no AA at all etc, the result was always the same, less than 20 FPS.

Honestly, I don't understand anything about dolphin... revs,caches, lots of configs, I cant really get any sense out of it.

I can follow instructions, and try any suggestions, just don't tell me to experiment on my own, I've tried and it was useless,haha

Specs on my sig, I'm currently using W7 x64

Try the R6505 and follow the settings I posted in the previous page, maybe change some settings DarkSharingan mentioned, also overclock your CPU. I asked the exactly the same thing in the last page, check them.

I can not play in Fullspeed, despite boasting a 3.8GHz Quad Core and each core is taken from an average of 30% cpu usage in certain scenes Umbrella Chronicles has a performance hit. Definitely wrong configuration. Someone help me would know?

I would be interested in Configurtazione Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside .. Thanks

Besides OC'ing, already did it , a few minutes before seeing your reply actually.
Got like, 25~29 (never 30 or more) FPS

I know emulators aren't perfect and can need a lot of system resources ,but, I can't really believe my PC can't handle a Wii game at playable FPS... I've read about good results using weaker CPU's (not specifically about this game, but about dolphin in general)

Also, I wont overclock my CPU, not worth the damage it may cause to the components IMO.

25-29fps is already very good considering you CAN'T get past 30, some wii games are much more demanding than the others, some games could even get along with a low end dual core while some games require a good sandybridge CPU to make them playable. Take the RE games for example: I can run RE1 perfectly on my machine, zero glitch, 100% speed almost all the time. RE0, RE:UMC and RESC run MUCH WORSE.
