lagunalor, tu tas usando o Remake de GC? Experimente forçar o aspect ratio para 4:3 ou 16:9 (+widescreen hack) nas opções gráficas e 640x480 ou 1280x720 (se usar 16:9) nas opções gerais, na seção "video".

Quando quiser jogar em fullscreen, não use o "maximizar". Escolha a resolução nas opções de video globais, e aperte Alt+Enter para trocar para Fullscreen.

uhm, i think i gave you false information. It's just like you said, the game only running roughly @15-30 fps. Sorry for the wrong info ><. So the first problem is solved lol :p.

well i have enabled the CPU-EFB access but unfortunately the problem about the joystick still persist ><.
IR settings => the one that showed up when i right-click at the button configuration??i have never touch this part before.

Hey Guys can someone help me please?

So Im using the latest Dolphin build. Resident Evil Archives Wii and Resident Evil Zero Archives Wii run flawlessly on my systems especially since the "accurate Vbeam emulation". However Resident Evil 4 Wii is great as well, UNTIL i get to the village where the first Chainsaw Enemy is seen. There is massive slowdown looking at the area. Is this a driver issue? Because Im sure my system can handle it. I have seen videos on youtube where ppl dont experience any slowdown however I do.

I have even overclocked my CPU from 2.4GHZ to 3.3GHZ and it made no difference in any frames. I am using Directx9 plugin and have the resolution down to 640x480 and have EFB copy set to texture. I havee tried turning on/off vbeam Emulation but nothing changes. And have also tried both the PAL and NTSC version. Thanks

Hi guys,

This is my first post in this forum, I need some help running my Resident Evil Remake backup on Dolphin.

I've tried lots of settings, right now I'm using rev. 7283 with the settings given in the first post of this thread but I can't get the game run over 25 fps. No matter what resolution I choose it just can't get past 25 fps, so I don't know what to do in order to make it run faster.

This is my rig:

Intel E8500 @ default speed (3,16 Ghz)
2GB DDR3 1066
AMD ATI 5850 1GB DDR5
Windows 7 x64

This is driving me crazy because, as I said before, no matter what resolution I choose, nor windowed size or fullscreen, nor antialias or ansiotropic filter, it just can't go faster than 25 fps

Could you guys give me some advice so I can make it run faster?

lagunalor. All you have to do is change the aspect ratio (4:3, 16:9) and mess with the widescreen option (right click on the game icon). I had the same problem and its fixed through that.

paperbag. Quite simple. I think I know your problem. Right Click on the game and tick the box "Vbeam Emulation". That should speed up the game so you get 30fps (usually max). I hope your running the Wii edition as well, because thats the perfectly emulated one.

Napper thanks for your reply. I have already checked the "Vbeam Emulation" but it hasn't improved the performance. I'm running the Cube edition maybe that's why I'm not getting the 30fps

Yes, I'm running the PAL version, I guess I should have mentioned that, sorry
