For me it's kind of a moot point since my computer is not quite fast enough to run this game with LLE. It manages about 20fps with LLE which currently means LLE sound stutters every second or so.

Try r5000 up to r6000. I never had problems between those releases with music and I don't even use LLE only HLE. Though, it was the wii version and not GC. That maybe your problem. GC audio has been known to suck compared to Wii Audio.

Hmm, ok. I'm currently using r6496 and having this issue. And this is happening on the Wii version.

I should correct myself try r5000 to r6000 releases. Devs have been making alot of changes that are fixing and breaking things. Example RE 0 audio has been broken since around 5400 something release and they just fixed it on 6838. Something might have cause the audio to loop recently and you should go download an old revision and check it out.

Hi!

I'm having this slight problem with RE4. Quite simply, I can't seem to be able to do any cranking in RE4. Is really a pain mainly in the pro water room, but still. I'm using a mouse/keyboard-setup. Been tinkering for a while so help is appreciated.

Are you saying that the music is perfect?
You are using the version, EUR (PAL) or USA (NTSC).
Which dolphin you are using.

Unfortunately yes.Sad
RE the Darkside, the sound of the gun also stops working after a while (In both HLE and LLE). (But that sound was broken between these r48xx r490x)

You mean the gun sounds in RE Darkside Ch. worked fine before r48xx? If we knew the exact revision that broke it, the devs should be able to fix it rather easily.

It seems the last was the r4638.
http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=2190
For those who want to test, here's the link r4638. http://www.emucr.com/2009/12/dolphin-svn-r4638.html
And r4640. http://www.emucr.com/2009/12/dolphin-svn-r4640.html
Test and see if the sound works.
Edit:In both, the sound is perfect.

If it's the wii version and you're using emulated wiimote, set your shake x/y/z to something like middle mouse button click. Then on the event where you have to crank just hammer on the mouse button. Works for me.

So has RE4 music ever worked right? And if so can any1 point me to a working rev#? Thanks.

For those who want to test, here's the link r4651.
http://www.emucr.com/2009/12/dolphin-svn-r4651.html
The rev that broke the sound is between this (r4644 to r4651)
It may have been (r4644 or r4651)
