nope, disabling fog didn't help.
hm, Darkside Ch. doesn't hang for me. Actually it works pretty much perfectly apart from the quiet gunshots which, though, take out the fun Undecided

well i can`t make darkside not hang i have tried different options none of them work for me every time it wants to load something a sound or something it hangs like it can`t read from hdd or it is obstructed by something it really is unplayable for my specs ..anyway it`s not much of a game anyway oh maybe it hang because i play it with my mouse and not with a nunchuk....

build 6572 finally plays the music in code veronica if fog is enabled there are some artifacts on screen but still it is better that it loads music ,resident evil 0 is unplayable had to disable dual core and it runs at 22- 25 fps so i will use build 6515 for zero ,resident evil 2 runs well plays music witch on 6515 not always loads the music ,resident evil 3 is the same twitches of sounds ..resident evil 1 runs very well on this build every resident evil game i have is ntsc format my settings are dolphin direct x9 16x below everything is to default enable cpu access ,efb copy to texture ,enable safe texture cache normal,enable open cl and high resolution textures ,sound is open al no audio throttling ,enable cheats on,skip gc bios on,frame limit either 30fps or 60fps rest is default ,just tested darkside chronicles with this build and does not hang up that often an improvement none the less for me ahh and mario sunshine finally works with this build this is a good build i think for windows 7 x64 at least...

Hi everyone!

I just registered and I'm also kinda new to Dolphin, so for me browsing this thread proved to be very useful; thank you all for your contributions so far! : )
Currently I'm playing the GC version of Resident Evil Remake (NTSC) as Jill and I encountered a very peculiar bug: I can't use the fuel canteen! I've already picked up the lighter and I know how to burn corpses, but when I try to use the canteen, it simply says "it's not necessary to use this right now."
Did any of you have this problem? Is there any way to solve this? I don't want a mansion full of crimson heads...
AMD Phenom II X2 555 @3.20 GHz, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, ASUS EAH5770 CUcore (ATI Radeon 5700 HD series, 1 GB), Windows 7 x64.

i did not play jill but in code veronica something similar happened to me too when trying with chris to extinguish the fire to get the magnum ...after a reboot or something i finally could do it so no clue maybe some cheat bug or save bug could be....??

What revision are you using? I've played through the game some time ago and never had that problem. The game is kinda picky as to where you need to stand sometimes in order to burn a corps. You might want to try it again while standing in different positions over the body and see if that does anything. I know you said that you know what you're doing, but some bodies cannot be burnt at all and some need to be done at a specific time in the game for it to work.

Thanks for both of your answers!

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I encountered this problem using SVN R 6560. I tried both with Chris and Jill, but no matter what I did, I couldn't use the fuel canteen. I also noticed a graphic bug in the first room with a kerosene can next to the typewriter. The two may be connected somehow...

I went back to the previous Dolphin I used (SVN R 6479) and it solved the problem altogether. Thanks for asking me what revision I'm using. Smile

The best thing to do is to use the version that works and test revisions up from there till you find the exact revision that is broken, then start an issue for it on google code. That way you can show the developers exactly what revision number broke this part of the game. If you can pin-point or narrow it down to one revision, things will get done much faster.

Hey guys,im having a small problem on resident evil 0 (the gamecube version)

Resident evil 0 has been working perfectly especially with the new updates always coming in.

But one problem though,the sounds is fixed,but not 100% quite yet.

Everytime i play RE0,the BGM music goes on and off...likes if its fade in and fade out...does anyone know why? or do i have to deal with it?

Other than that everything is perfect!

I just tested r6587 and there is neither the grapgical bug nor the oil can bug. I checked RE1 Wii PAL.
