I need help with Resident Evil Zero and Rebirth.

Zero: I drop to 20 fps anytime in-game unless I'm opening a door and sound crackles all the time.

Rebirth: I reach the first page then after that the entire Emulator freezes.

I've used zero's rec. specs, no difference was seen.

I'm running on a:
4 gb DDR2 Ram
Ati Radeon x1900xtx
Intel core 2 duo E6400, 2.12 ghz.
Windows XP
Dolphin SVN R 5847M

Both games are Gamecube. I redownloaded the Emulator to make sure I had the correct windows XP version, now I get this error:

Can you list your computer specifications and all, as well your dolphin setting please.

I listed my specs, but:
RAM = 4 gb DDR2
Graphics = Ati Radeon x1900xtx
CPU = Intel core 2 duo E6400, 2.12 ghz.
OS = Windows XP Home Edition
Emulator = Dolphin SVN R 5847M

I'm having the exact same problem as you (SVN rev. 5875) with those errors poping up, and the only way I've been able to fix it so far is by switching to the OpenGL plugin. Even having the exact same settings on the D3D9 plugin keeps either showing me those errors or black screen with random sounds =D! But when you use OpenGl it works "normally" (the audio is still kind of messy), but it's completely playable!

Will it still be running at 20 fps? Because that is my main concern, annoying to play when FPS keeps flipping.

Try disabling bi/trilinear filtering, the game uses pre-rendered backgrounds and that can be the cause, I think

Hi guys

I'm having problems trying to play the Resident Evil Remake. I've tried multiple versions of Dolphin 2.0 and SVN version, x86 and x64. But I can never get the game to load any further than the "Warning this game scenes of violence and gore..." message.

I can get RE0 to work fine (although the sound is choppy), but RE Remake just will not work.

I've tried the recommended Dolphin configurations mentioned in this thread, but no luck.

My PC:
Q6600 at stock speed
4GB DDR2 RAM
GTX 275
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Latest drivers for graphics, direct x, C++, etc.

Any suggestions as to what the problem could be?

Can you give us some information about the ISO you're using?
Have you tried it with the Wii version?

Sounds like a bad image, I'm fairly certain that both the PAL and NTSC-U versions have been listed as compatible, I have the NTSC-U version and it's working fine. I'm not sure what the compatibility status of the NTSC-J version is. What region of the game do you own, perhaps try re-dumping the image again?

hey there. my first time on these forums but not very new to emulation. well, kinda new to dolphin still. I have a question. RE 0 works very good on older revs but it crashes sometimes. on newer revs it works better, no crashes, but the sound is completely screwed with constant stuttering mainly on fmvs. Is it possible to use an older plugin with newer revs of dolphin? in this case, use the older audio plugin on the latest rev so the game works perfectly?. and with the remake it's the contrary. the game runs flawlessly on older revs but it's too slow. can we use newer versions of the opengl plugin or direct3d9 plugin with older revs so the game runs better? with the remake the problem I get it's audio and video getting desynched in fmvs. from what i can see if I disable dual core the fmvs get synched but the game is slower and the cutscenes get desynched. -_- oh both games are gamecube's. I don't own wii...yet!
there's always something...lol

I've disappeared behind the fireplace before too , but only when I went windowed then back to full screen. If I remain full screen it doesn't happen .
