Just tried rev 4061 with RE Archives. Compared to rev 4026 with exact same settings, I lose about 3-8fps (!) depending on the displayed room and many sounds are working actually worse. No idea why but new revs aren't that good for RE

Its not just RE that it Happend to, I Lost about 10-15 FPS In Mario Kart, And about 10 FPS in every other game. But Sound Seems to be better in Zelda

Well, I didn't lose any FPS in RE1 nor 0 because it was always on max for me (30, because I'm using throttle). However a bug appeared in RE1 (Wii), all CGI videos have messed up sound, there's this weird "screeching" over the audio during the movies.

Playing with "Other Sound" enabled, which has a side effect - a perfect framelimiter which works like if you were playing on a real Wii/GC.

Hello guys!

I wan to ask how much fps u got on Resident Evil Remake and what is ur rig?

I got only 30 fps on RE0 and RE Remake...=z The full speed of these RE is 30 fps or someone got higher? Rev 3972

Another doubt is the slowdowns in mansion (Remake)... i see some on a mid-rate PC (not mine, i travel last week to another city and don test on my PC yet), on the room with armors when the gas is triggered and when i fight against the giant snake (Yam). On the lastest revs like 4063 these slowdowns occur too?

30 is the max fps so you shouldn't be getting more. Console games always run at native 25 fps (PAL) or 30 (29.9) fps (NTSC). Any more is actually faster than the game should actually be which is quite unrealistic. Some games run natively on 50 or 60 fps, in which case anything lower than those will be slower than actual game, but more will once again be faster than supposed to be.

All in all, in case of Resident Evil 0 and 1, you shouldn't be getting more than 25fps if it's PAL or more than 30 if it's NTSC, as long as you use other sound (throttle).

Rev 4063 is way better, full speed again

I think it was a mistake on my side :p
I accidentally added some code in r4042 that would invert the EFB copy setting on boot, so that if you selected EFB copy to Texture it would then use EFB copy to RAM, which can be a tad slower

Sorry for that, this is fixed in r4063+
