Is there any revision with the background music for RE:Remake fixed yet?

So far I managed to get max FPS in every area with Spellforce's Dolphin release (Intel C++ Compiler with SSE42 support), but still haven't found a way to get the BGM to work. There are some parts where it randomly works, but then disappears eventually again.

Just a quick report, it seems the rendering issues with RE:CVX is related to copy EFB. If you completely disable copy EFB you can play the game and see full ingame graphics, actually looks quite nice..

I am running NTSC - U version.

Dolphin responded something like this :

"Invalid image files (drive):/(folder):/(isoname).ISO@#%(yes there is symbol like that)

And the game itself didn't recognize the second disc, and think it was different disc.

Both happens with
1. My original GC-disc dumping ( I own my original game, and set it to default 1,5 GB )
2. (I got it) and nothing, still the same

Did i do something wrong at dumping? Or bug inside emulator itself? Or anyone experience same problem with me?

That is all. If you like to know, i can attach my savegame.

Help me please Smile

I had this problem, when i was playing RE remake. Only solution i know of is to use some old rev i used 2842 IIRC, then transfered save to newer one (entire memory card file not save state) It seems that this problem is not fixed to this day :/

Amazing! using r2866, i was able to swap 2nd disc!

I think it is sound related problem, because when changing into disc2 in r46xx - r4898, the sound ( from the elevator down to the lab ) keep looping, but in r28xx in stopped / vanishes / or muted, and the disc was recognized. No error message again Big Grin

Weird... ? Huh

Does anyone know if the sound (BGM) will ever get fixed in RE Remake in future versions? Are any of the devs even aware of it?

The Resident Evil 0 Audio Fix does NOT help anymore for this problem.

Yeah unfortunately I'm not sure which ones worked. Most users said that the problem already started to come back after 4600, so that's pretty old. And right now I'm using the Intel C++ Compiler builds, because Remake works flawlessly at a constant max FPS in there, no matter what area.

I just reported the bug right now too http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=2253

Hopefully there'll be a fix in future versions as well.

I've been using r4640 for a while for RE games and the sound was already broken then. I was using r4460 before that and I can't remember but I think it was broken then too.

<rant>
I hate to complain, but lately for RE games the lack of attention sucks. Zombies have had missing arms and other textures since r4656 and the sound has been f***ing broken forever. It seems that if it's not SSBB, NSMB or MKWii or something to do with wiimote it doesn't get any f***ing attention.
