They do not need the action replay master code on dolphin, also try deleting and re-entering the action replay codes, that fixed it for me (also make sure you have the right codes, ie PAL or NTSC from codejunkies)

Some time between r4640 and now (r4738) REmake had a regression. I see the following issues I don't see in r4640:

- Most zombies have invisible arms (hands & body visible)
- Disc swapping was broken

Anybody else seeing this?

Also the sound sucks for me, music stops & starts playing at random but that's been going on for a while. Does the LLE plugin do any better in this game than the HLE one? I was hoping to avoid going to the trouble of dumping the dsp_*.bin files from my Wii.

could you be more specific, do you see those armless zombies in specific rooms or it is at random? as for the sound, I haven't noticed any issues on the wii version, which version are you playing?

Sorry zezoman, armless zombies include first zombie of the game, eastern staircase hallway zombie upstairs (I think the downstairs one had it too) as well as several others. These are the ones that come to mind. This is on Once Again scenario, Jill, easy difficulty. Gamecube version.

Sound is probably just due to my slow lappy. I get full 30fps in some rooms but in others it's mid-20's, outside areas high teens. Sound plays then drops out, then suddenly comes back for no obvious reason.

Do you use HLE or LLE for sound? I'm trying to figure out how to dump my dsp rom's from my wii for the LLE but haven't figured out how to do it yet. I have the .dol file from the sticky topic over in the general discussion thread but don't know how to use it. If you know how I'd sure appreciate some pointers.

LLE performance in REmake is mostly just a curiosity for me, the main reason I want to get LLE working is for ZTP and ZWW.

As far as I've heard, sound (especially music) problems are known for the GC-version. Wii sound is fine but the fps is worse.
LLE?...isn't the performance on that one unplayable in any game?

It's strange, I don't get the armless zombies issue, the sound is perfect and the fps is 30 for most of the time (actually it drops below 30 only during the first cutscene at the entrance hall and the other place is the room with the bird cage. in both places the fps drops to 25 but this is not a problem at all, at least for me). I'm playing the Wii (PAL) version. check your dolphin configuration against the one proposed in the first post of this thread. it might be a config issue, or driver issue as well.

it's just what you say: You have the wii version, he has the GC version. They DO have differences...at least emulationwise

It's incredible how much dolphin has improved since same time last year - re games did not work and even when they worked there were lots of crashes.

My configuration is:
Core2Duo 8400 2.66GHz
4GB DDR2 RAM
Geforce 9500GT 1GB
Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Resident Evil 1 (Rebirth) to GC is not good. The game cutscenes (real time) is varied with fps, or too low or normal, varies greatly when I'm in a place with two or more characters the FPS drops too. I'm using all the settings that gave the topic. I tested the game in SVN 4760IL, 4710IL and 4771IL. On reaching the main hall at the beginning of the game, go up the first ladder and enter the door that is on the table, the map that takes place outside the mansion on this site is unplayable when we see the zombie, the falls for 10 fps! Someone help me set up the game? I have the disc A and B on the PC, NTSC and USA.
