hi I have a problem playing resident evil 1 remake for gc...I HAVE REV 4519...when I launch the game it only shows the "...violence and gore" screen then continuous black screen, can someone help....btw, I use the open gl plugin since I can't find the direct3d one....TNX A LOT

My specs:

Amd Athlon x2 3600+ dual core @ 2.2 ghz

2gb RAM

Nvidia Geforce 8500gt Overclocked

(can play deadspace on medium/high settings @ 30 fps)

I had similar problems, a fresh extract of the emulator solved the problem for me

On 4525 both re0 and remake have invisible heroes issue.

i was going to report the same game issue, non of the tweaks seems to resolve that problem. i guesse i´m back to the old revision

hey I've been having the same invisible hero issue, but when i try an older rev i get the whole, stretched out model issue as well.

Guess i'll have to wait for a fix =/

So dolphin has made huge gains since I tried it last and I appreciate the devs' efforts. But still a couple issues that maybe someone knows something about. Problems are with REmake. I set up dolphin like the 1st pot says but still have the issues.

Using dolphin 4525 with DX9 plugin from 4460. DX9 plugin tried literally every option, plus every option on the general tab to no avail.

- I get reflections in the shiny floors (like the main hall) but no shadows on either walls or floors. Screen caps attached. (Notice Jill's feet, no shadow around them).
- The item box menu is totally hosed on the left side.

Anybody have any ideas? I have the same issue with dolphin 4460, no plugin or other hacks. Please help! I love this game so much and it's so close to perfect! Thanks!

EDIT: just found out the item box menu bug is fixed in version 4480. YAY!

I've just updated the first post of this thread to reflect the optimal configuration for r4480. Unfortunately RE games seems to have many bugs in the revisions agter that one ;(
