I'm running at about 30-33 fps while playing, 60 fps on doors and cutscenes. I was having issues with fps but I fixed all my problems.. except now the sound is making god awful glitchy noises at random points while playing. It sometimes turns off and then comes back on randomly and stays for a long while. It sounds like the worst thing I've ever heard T_T

I'm running the latest dolphin and my specs are as follows:
MSI GT780DX Gaming Notebook
GPU - NVIDIA GTX 570M
CPU - Intel Core i7=2670QM @ 2.20 GHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM
Windows 7 64bit

I have it set to XAudio2 as a video suggested but I've heard things about a resident evil zero audio hack that may also fix this problem? I'm not sure where I can find it and read that it should be in DSP settings but don't see it :S not sure what to do about the sound problems.

Wow I haven't heard of the Resident Evil 0 audio hack in AGES, that was some time ago.
As DefenderX suggested, newer builds will do just fine.

It was a long time ago, it was implemented in r3191 I think and was under Audio settings or Game settings I believe.

Well I have the latest dolphin from the website 3.0 but do I need to download and extract these individually? or does the latest one have them combined?

Not sure what you exactly mean but you should download builds here http://dolphin-emu.org/download/ .

EDIT: btw Dolphin 3.0 is the official release. 3.0-XXX are revisions. Improvements for RE games were made in a recent revision (thanks to skid)

I just meant that are older build releases compiled with new build releases like if I got the latest one that came out a day ago (3.0-802) would that one download also include changes from previous build releases such as (3.0-801) as well or would I have to download each and every one of them separately :p but thankyou for the help! and everyone else.

Changes are usually kept from one build to another one. Sometimes some things are removed though. It's usually indicated in build description so have a look to that. This is for Main Branch
