So I was playing RE4 in dolphin r6496, and decided to try REmake GC out on it for speed comparison purposes with older revs. Glory hallelujah, much to my surprise BGM started playing! A few notes still seem to be missing in the save room and a few tick-tocks from the clock in the dining room but it seems MUCH better than it was. This was even with HLE plugin, LLE plugin is still too slow for my compy.

Can others who have this game try it out and see if it's really fixed or did I just get lucky with this build? Used mamario's 32-bit build.

EDIT: r6496 does seem to be a good bit faster too btw, areas that used to have slowdown (like the graveyard behind the main hall) run full speed and the intro with wesker/barry/jill in the main hall runs faster too, ~23 fps for me.

Don't have resident evil 4, I have been playing RE remake GC, so far the BGM works fine, the only glitch I have seen is the music doesn't play while Jill was playing the lovely "moonlight sonata"Dodgy And I am in the resident area, where you get the last mansion key(about to finish). I am using the R6491 x64 build. oh, forgot the mention, speed is great! the fps is almost always at 30 all the time at 1600x900.

Yeah, Resident Evil (remake) is already one of the best emulated by Dolphin. I passed it perfectly like 4 or 5 times. The only glitches are missing notes or parts in music, but seems to be improving lately.
Regards.
Sorry for any English mistakes. If you see some, please PM me. I'm still learning.
